Why your efforts matter…

Here’s a story by Dr. J. Larry Brown of the Harvard School of Public Health in the Central Maine Morning Sentinel that explains why MAGNET – and organizations like it – continue to need your help in battling hunger. While we don’t believe that all of his proposals are workable (“The charitable hunger sector will announce publicly that it intends to go out of business within the next four years”) we do agree that more can – and should – be done at the Federal level to end hunger.
